People may catch conjunctivitis while others may have to battle against rashes and itches. The monsoons may also result in hyperpigmentation, which results in an area of your skin darkening as a result of overproduction of melanin.

The monsoon season is a breeding ground for mosquitoes and bacteria, and it is important to stay away from dirty bodies of water in order to avoid catching an infection of skin allergies. Some common skin allergies may include Athlete’s foot, where the skin turns greenish with pus filled scaly and itchy patches.
